Profile

Davin Heckman teaches English and Communications at Siena Heights University. He is the author of A Small World: Smart Homes, Interactivity, and the Technology of the Perfect Day (forthcoming, Duke University Press), which analyzes the intersection of technology, popular culture, and daily life. He organized this symposium to contribute to the growing field of electronic literature and its criticism. His other research projects include a study of labor and identity in the American Gothic and Science Fiction.
